A. Daniels

Addison Daniels is CMS’s 7th grade Spartan of the Week for the week of March 20, 2023.  Addison is the of daughter of Davey and Carla Daniels.  Ms. Amy King, mathematics  teacher, nominated her.  Ms. King praised, “Addison is an outstanding student.  She models being respectful, responsible, and ready to learn.  She is polite to everyone in the class and is willing to help others.  She is ready to work and stays on task throughout the class.  Addison is responsible, completes her work, and is willing to volunteer during our lessons.  It is a pleasure to have her in class!”  Addison is a member of the CMS choir, the FFA club, and plans to tryout for the golf team this spring.  She is also an Honor Roll student at CMS.  Outside of school, she is a member of Crossfire.  In her free time, she likes to garden, draw, play guitar, and hang out with friends and family.  Her favorite classes are choir and English.  Addison would like to become a florist after high school.  When asked what she liked best about being a student at Connersville Middle School, Addison said, “I like the teachers who are really nice.”

C. Maze

Chloe Maze is CMS’s 8th grade Spartan of the Week for the week of March 20, 2023.  Chloe is the daughter of Jonathan and Kristin Maze.  Mr. Matt Hafertepen, Diamond social studies teacher, nominated her.  Mr. Hafertepen praised, “Chloe has a great ability to work individually and lead groups and for putting up with Mr. H.”  In addition, Mrs. Amy Stanton, Diamond English teacher, states, “Chloe is a friendly, helpful, and diligent student.  She always completes her work, focuses during class time, and works well with others.”  Chloe is a member of the CMS choir, Small Business club, and she was a manager of the CMS wrestling team.  She was an Honor Roll student last year in 7th grade and continues to be Honor Roll this year.  Outside of school, she plays on a recreational soccer team.  In her free time, Chloe likes to hang out with friends.  Her favorite classes are choir and social studies. After high school, she plans to attend college to become a nurse.  Chloe’s advice for 7th graders is to “try and not put off doing your work and slacking.”  When asked what she liked best about CMS, Chloe stated, “I like meeting a lot of new people.
